Selling a home is an emotional and complicated process that is anything but easy. It's time consuming and comes with a myriad of details. As certified home staging professionals, we prepare your home for sale in the real estate marketplace. Our goal is to make your home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, resulting in a swift sale, netting you thousands more for your home.
Staging Consultations will give you information needed to repair and update specifically to get the best return. We give you a Special Report on what to do to get your home ready for its fastest sale. We guide you to decide what to pack and what to showcase. If some enhancements and furniture are needed we will give you rental prices, but try to work with as much of your furnishings as possible. Your report will include specific suggestions to prepare the best look for your home before you list.
Vacant Staging will enhance each room to show its features and create an inviting spacious look to appeal to the greatest number of potential buyers. Bare impersonal spaces do not invite a buyer to click on your website ads, nor do they look appealing when walking through the home. Small flaws are instantly memorable and a source to bargain over the asking price. We will dramatically improve the look and feel of your vacant home with rental staging packages which include high quality furniture, artwork and accessories.
Colour Consultations will help you decide the best paint colours to help you feel the energy you need in each room. Then we decide on how to create a flow from one room to the next and tie the design together with accessories and art.
I took my staging training in Sept 06 through the Canadian Staging Professionals, and followed that with more personalized training with a professional stager in Edmonton. Most of my listings are in the $350,000 to $700,000 range. I have been contracted to design and purchase furniture and accessories for Show Suites for large Condo units and Show homes and have done numerous redesigns. But staging isn't just for large homes. Last year I also was contracted to stage a rental basement suite and it was rented within a week. I have brought in extra stagers, a handyman, painters, packers and cleaners to keep up with the demand.
I have been artistic all my life and painted many pictures while I was a member of the Prairie Artists Guild here in Regina. I have taken courses in Interior Design, Floral Arrangements, Woodworking, Upholstery, Sewing, Willow Chair design, Faux Art, Feng Shui, Curb Appeal, Garden Design, Photography for Staging, and also dozens of short classes to help me run a small business from Web Design to Bookkeeping to Marketing.
I constantly update my skills by reading, taking classes, and redesigning spaces. Hopefully you enjoy my website and come back and read new articles, see more before and after pictures and realize that homes are meant to be beautiful and comforting, so that we can all be inspired to lead productive, resourceful lives.
Tracey took her Certified Staging Training course in Toronto, Ontario in September 2012 and has been working with me since that time. She has redesigned her own home and cottages as well as friends homes for many years. She and her husband recently moved from White City to Regina . She is looking forward to learning more about the industry, meeting more builders, realtors and clients, and is excited to help me expand business with Simply Stunning Designs!
